I spoke with a cornish angler last summer in Dingle who was "vingling " for sandeels.
He held ammo responsible for the complete lack if sandeels in the cornish estuaries. He said their boats were appearing every day in the same estuaries and beaches and netting them to the point where there are simply no sandeels left, where once there were millions
