Donaghadee 12th May

#1 Post by rdoggart »

People:Just Me

Duration:7pm - 10pm

Tide:Pushing but calm

Weather:Clear and cold

Bait:lug and mackerel

Rigs:2up 1down

Results:1 doggie

Report:Decided to give the Dee a try and set up and fished between the two piers as normal. Got the doggie on a mackerel strip after about 1hr. Was plagued by crabs all night, most casts the baits where stripped. Also plagued by a single yacht which kept sailing in and out of the harbour. At least it was not a blank.
