Broken Daiwa rod

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Broken Daiwa rod

#1 Post by sparks »

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has any advice. I purchased a Daiwa emcast for €100 at the fishing expo in february, I used it only for the 2nd time on sunday and as i was bringing it in the top segmant snapped in half  , there was no weed or anything on the line. My problem is i don't know the name of the seller as it was at the fishing expo i have no receipt or proof of purchase, there is not a single scratch on it and it has the plastic still at the bottom to show it is brand new, can Daiwa replace segments or is it pointless contacting them about it :?: .

Thanks

Mark

have you tried to contact the company who held the fishing expo to see if they can supply you with a name of the seller? they should have on record which vendors where occupying which stalls.

Bring it back to the next expo while they are at the stand in full view of the Public.

Daiwa couldnt give a monkeys about their now disposable one season junk.
