killmichae point clogga greystones 10/5/10

#1 Post by matt69 »

People:mark and me

Duration:16.00 23.oo

Tide:19.00 22.00

Weather:northeasterly

Bait:rag lug mackeral squid

Rigs:2 and 3 hook flappers

Results:2 bass 4 coalies 1 codling 1 doggie

Report:Went to killmichale point started fishing at 16.00. Big waves and windy not a bite. So after a hour of been nearly blown of the rocks moved on to clogga. Baits came back not touched so about 19.00 moved to greystones and stopped of for a burger.
Back fishing about 21.00. Not a lot happened for the first hour. Then mark pulled in a bass of 47cm and a codling and a coalie on the next cast. I was getting worried i might blank. But as i went to pick up my rod i noticed a little knock reeled in and my first bass of
the year 34cm and 3 coalies soon after. Mark had a doggie. All fish caught on rag. Finished about 23.00 Happy days :D :D :D
