Galway bound....ray help..pls

Hello guys...
I'm off to letterfrack direction for the weekend....as its my major ambition to catch a ray this year, can anyone help with marks, where to get bait etc..pms welcome.all information will be kept to myself of course....i really want to catch ray...although i know its probably early enough for them?

your in the right area to get ray this time of year, only problem is that the connaught gold medal competition is being fished over the weekend on marks that will produce ray, however there are a few marks you could also try, little killary is one of them, and you could give cleggan pier a shot (just beware of the inishboffin ferry, as it is a working pier)

baits would be sandeel, mackerel and squid, the latter of the three should be got in any good fishmongers, if your passing through Galway City you may be able to pick up sandeel (may be in short supply because of the aforementioned competition)
