#1 Post by Stan »

People:Borough SAC

Duration:9am-3pm

Tide:3ish

Weather:Cold, strong NE wind

Bait:Feathers, rag, lug, mac

Rigs:various

Results:good

Report: Had doubts about going out in such foul weather. 15 people fishing, 8 with Dick Hayes and 7 with John Deveraux. Fishing was good with several fine cod. Not many pollock or wrasse. The crack was great and so were the 2 skippers......thanks for all the help. Pics to follow

Thank lads. Kilmore is fishing really well at the moment. Not much variety but good quality fish.

As regards the lakes there should be plenty hungry pike around at the moment. Trout are slow because of the cold. You show try the new lake in Enniskerry. Hugh Duff has stocked real quality rainbows in it. My best was 20lb......some fight on a fly rod!!!

I see you are getting some nice bass Seanie

Go to go now and prepare cod for dinner.
