Fluorocarbon Recomendations Please?

#1 Post by Kayak 13 »

Hi there,
wonder if you might point me in the right direction on this subject.
I've been using seaguar fluoro for a while now and quite happy with it but looking for a different breaking strain and wondered if you had any recommendations on different types of fluoro to try for clear waters.

Thought about perhaps Stren gunsmoke or Berkely pro grade fluoro looked quite good at a cheaper price than seaguar.

Absolutely any feedback on this subject greatly received. :)

i dont use fluro anymore as i found when you get snagged and pull for a break the knot tends to want to undo itself  .

Im using 30lb for the snoods stops them from tangling round the rig body as they are stiff flouro is a bit more expensive but i think its worth it, cant remember the brand i use though.

Ive not been out in a while and ive not made many rigs recently.
