This report is for me and mick 001 .Im sure the lads will post up there own reports later. We landed down to the first mark and looked nice tide coming in sun out and some lads fishing . Met Doggie and Lucky straight way, Good to meet you lads. There had been some good fish landed but I am sure they will post the details.
Fished until 6.00pm but nothing going for us except weed. We all decided to hit another mark and fish into the night, so off we went in convoy. Arrived shortly after and set up. First indications were great with Mick001 pulling in a 6lbs 13oz Thornie on the first cast. We were off the mark ! The other lads were catching too inc some nice Dogs. I started to think at this stage of the dreaded "Blank"! - again. But night fell and the rod tip ratteled - a nice dog came into the surf. I was off the mark, "Blank saved"
.Next Mick001 pulled another fine dog and lost another shortly after. The doggies were starting to feed. I then pull in another two Doggies and Mick001 also followed suit. Then while having the crack with the lads around the Tripod the tip rattled again. I struck into it and it struck back with Doggie3131 saying she's singing as the line whistled in the wind. This is decent I could hear in the background. After a good fight I saw the outline of a nice thornie in the surf. Mick001 helped to bring it up from the surf.
Result was a 7lbs 2oz Tornie,which Jordan returned for me to fight another day - thanks Jordan for your help.
Things went quiet, It was getting late so we packed up and hit the road with dreams of Supermac's in both our heads.
Lads great to meet you all, a good days crack and fishing, roll on the next session.
