Nice fish Seanie, was out again yesterday evening at that rock mark, saw loads of fish round the 4lb mark, had a few follows and two hook ups , both spat out :( , definitely getting better tho :D
Everyone should believe in something; I believe I’ll go fishing.

Well done Seanie, that was a fine bass.
You did better than me over the weekend - I had a small bass on Saturday (45 cm) from East Cork and lost a bigger one - another hook shearing off at the bend    - not a cheap hook either - a Varivas Big Mouth.
I tried both bait and lure fishing on Sunday and Monday and all it had to show for it was one solitary little codling

  Nice seatrout seanie, you are so lucky to have such good fishing right on your doorstep. I am so jealous.
What lure/plug did it take?
If I wasn't going away myself at the weekend I would be banging my head on my desk right now seeing all of these brilliant reports coming through from everywhere while I'm stuck in work!

hard luck with the lost fish frank theres nothing worse ive been trying new hooks fox powerpoint carbon bass so far so good. still think the lure fishing needs a bit more time to mature . 8)

:P So the craft banz is safely stashed away under lock and key then, I'm glad to hear it.
I have been looking for one on e-bay and a few other websites but I haven't seen any coming up for sale. Pity........I'd love to try fishing with one for myself, if only I knew someone who had one then I could borrow it from them.............
