finding rag

Is it just me or are rag like hen's teeth to find. Can dig plenty of lug and big lug at that but can't find rag anywhere i dig

Hi Rocky .if you dig your lug on a sand beach you wont find much rag .try a place where theres mud and graval for the rag

Mussel beds are normally a good place to start!

the edge of a tidal river or inlet will also have rag and alot of harbours have em ,you can see their burrows if you look closely a small hole in the shingle/ sand/mud :wink:
