Good find kstaff, just what I needed to confirm for me the path taken by the lead. Was getting frustrated watching blurred pictures of a lead travelling at 100's of mph...

These videos are unbelievably helpful. As a beginner it is sometimes embarrassing to ask questions about the basics. Unfortunately my technique sometimes involves leaving the weight rest behind me and then casting out. Might go out at low tide some day and try it like these guys. Think it's called the pendulum technique. Is that right?

Those guys make it look so easy ! It can be very frustrating trying to keep the arms right just before the punch pull
