Bere Island Bantry Bay

Anyone got any tips or advise for shore angling Bere Island as I am over there soon. :)

Hi

Long time ago, best mark is on the SW corner, not simple or that safe but pretty good.
Recall there being a half decent mark on the SE corner too, small beach.

i caught my first ray off it a few years ago on the same side of the island that the ferry comes in

can help you out with any info you need for the mainland but have never been out to the Island.
Have heard of a few marks but only hearsay so cannot stand by them.
Live out on the beautiful Beara Peninsula. Always willing to assist visiting anglers.

Hearsay is ok Paul at least it is somewhere to start I will not fault you if info is not good. :D :D
