Poolbeg, Dublin bay, 21st April 2010

People:Myself.

Duration:13:30 until 16:30

Tide:High at 17:47

Weather:Sunny, clear skies, clear water, light NE breeze, cool.

Bait:

Rigs:Various lures including Dexter wedge, Eddystone eel and some sort of long skinny silver spoon with a glittery badge on it :?

Results:I didn't get any touches at all. I was hoping for a solitary hunting bass. If not a bass then at least a small pollock up near the top of the pier to feel something on the end of my line. Maybe it's still a slight bit too cool in the water for fish to be actively hunting for prey :?: There were a few small shoals of what looked like small sandeels in the water so when I saw them my hopes were raised ever so slightly. Alas it wasn't to be. No trip is a wasted trip. It's another blank for my records that I can learn something from.
