running leger rigs

how do you make a running leger rig.
any videos or diagrams would be great.

very simple..what i do is use slide a zip slider onto the mainline. Then a bead, then tie a swivel onto the line. Then tie your snood to the other side of the swivel, then your hook to the snood. What are you using it for?

Bass. when you are casting do you cast with the bait on the ground? :?
How long should the snood be.

Hi Goldfish17

Everyone will have their own favorite but for Bass fishing i would use a 2 hook flapper or a pennel, i would use the running ledger for conger/huss, the length of the snood will vary on what ground you are fishing over, i find the rougher the area the shorter the snood length.

As conger said everyone has their own way, i like to use a flapper for bass fishing too and i would use a running ledger for fishing for conger from the shore. As for casting with it,as i said i only use it for conger fishing to i rairly have to cast far. I dont like casting with them to be honest
