a raymond sunday

people.. myself and determined dan..

tide.. full at 8.23pm..

bait... mack,sandell,razor,lug//////

results.... thornies and doggies...

Had some bait left over from saturday so gave dan a shout to meet up about 6.30pm... Went out to conamara for a bit of ray fishing..... first off the mark was dan with and doggie,,, while i was still waiting on my first bite,, dan was next in again with a fine ray of about 3lbs... BUT was only given him a head start,, only the dan,,,,, Dan was getting all the action with bite after bite.... then my turn the rod tip bounce over looked like a doggie at first but once up on the water the ray kited in,,, nice one dan said,,,, it was a good evening with pleanty of rod tip action... i followed up with another ray this time not so big a little quittie one... Dan had sat down for a cuppa when the rod tip went mad,, dont think he finished his tea..... we decided to call the last cast at 10.30pm.... dan finished it off with a ray... so all in all a good three hour session......

A very nice way to spend three hours lads. Some lovely ray there fair play to ye. :D

ha kerry1 .. not sure if it is lucky or just in the right place at the right time.... but we will call it luck..... thanks...... im trying to beat my personal best for a thornie which stands at 16lbs from the shore........
