decided to go out this afternoon and give it a go. plenty mackeral at the start. picked up 3 codling and 8 pollack and a few other species. great weather for fishing deep but the drift was poor. forgot to take a pic of all the fish ! just took a pic of the ones i took home

excellent. nice to see a report from you again thought you had retired lol.id say you enjoyed the day with the settled spell of weather and fresh macks an added bonus to the day well done

Getting down through them mackerel can be tough going at times. :D :D :D :lol: :lol:

it was very enjoyable. we also had about 8 ling and a few herrings. it was the wind that stopped us going out in the past...anyway its nearly time to take her out of the water and get her ready for the summer ! lol

wow a man could get used to that. wouldent say the yachtsmen would be to happy lol

well done on getting some mackerel out there

wishlist:
cod over 5lbs!
a new match rod!!(accomplised k2 red metal!)

west cork and district sac
best fish 2010: 25lb conger eel

SPECIES 2011:= 2 species of rockling, colaie,codling whiting,pollock,gurnanrd,throback ray,grey gurnard
best fish 11 7 pound thornback ray

14 miles off? Amazing :shock: Up here, we might get two days a season like that, inshore. Those'd be the two days the relatives decide to drop in..... :evil:
