smoothies..................help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!

hello..... i am new to the site and was wondering if anyone new any good spots for smoothies haven caught one before and from what i am told i am missin out ......... if anyone can tell me any good spots around the dublin /wicklow area and what wud be the best bait to use and the best type of rig it wud be appreciated .................................

i caught 4 smoothies last weekend on enneriely arklow on a full in tide starting to go out using, 2/0 hooks on a 2 hook flapper rig with lug rag and squid tip, lug squid on one hook and rag squid on bottom hook. rag was catching doggies good size lug caught 3 of the smoothies and one with rag, they were starey smoothounds, very small though only 12 inches lng at most dont know of anyone catching much bigger yet. ohh and it was at 12 midnight

i have found that travelling a littlw further south pays off better. All of the beaches around in north wexford produce good counts of smoothies in calm conditions towards dark with crab or as a poor 2nd squid / lug cocktails working well for the smoothies
