try braid its so much better its the new black once used theres no goin back

mono seems to be making a come back in some uk anglers eyes for lure fishing,although i prefer braid myself its all about the contact.

if you really do want to try mono have a look at the suffix elite G2, its 14.5lbs bs but only .27m diametre. not the cheapest for mono but i found it very good, added a nice few yards to my casts when using 30g spinners. i.ve since changed to braid but havent caught anything on it yet so cant compare them with fish on.

Will be spinning for bass with german sprat/wedges and also with some shallow diving and surface lures!!

I swear by Berkley Fireline Cristal braid in 10lb for my lure fishing.A 125m spool cost me £13.99

i was watching a tv program about the (freshwater) bass spinning competitions in the usa,
some of the prizes here are $100,000s. As far as i can tell the competitors use mono
for this spinning, presumably with so much at stake there is a reason?
