FISHED UNDER I.F.S.A. MEASUREMENT SYSTEM

MINIMUM FISH SIZES 20CM

RAYS MEASURED FROM SNOUT TO TAIL

SILVER EELS EXCLUDED

above from flyer for 3rd leg
Has there been a change in the rules for the munster closed shore because i thought all the clubs who are running the legs agreed to having the same score cards and according to what read of the rules on the score card is that the you got 35 points for Eel + 5fish points and that the Ray is to be measured across the wings.
So the question is if eels are excluded are the last 2 legs null and void as there were Eels caught and recorded and if so are they going to be rescheduled or are the rules that were agreed on going to be applied to the 3rd leg.

I thought that the score card used in the first two legs was the agreed score card for all 4 legs. A copy of same was agreed between all 4 clubs, was it not. The problem up to now and the complaint from most anglerts was that all clubs hosting the competitions had different cards and rules and anglers were unsure what was going to happen at each leg. This year it appears it was just beginning to get some kind of order, and the views from the anglers at the two legs was very positive as they knew what to expect and were delighted with the way that both competitions had been run. Why is there now being a change to the rules and who has made the decision. Is this the decision of the majority of the committee of the host club, and why was this change not brought to the attention of the other 3 host clubs at the time the rules and score cards were being agreed.
Is this club trying to turn away anglers from taking part in this leg and to put the entire running of the Munster Closed competition in jeopardy. Do you want to go back to the days of a one off competition.? Why bother applying to host a leg when the rules are going to be changed half way through.

Was it not the fact that the last time you got a hook in your finger you thumped your finger with a spanner when you could no longer feel any pain you removed the hook.

I'd have gladly offered €100 to hit JP with a spanner and then yank the hook out.... :D Indeed, if we had made it public by selling tickets, we could probably have offered a clean fortune to him to allow us to do it.... :D
