My Daiwa Moonraker which was handed down to me some years ago by my father unfortunately met its end not so long ago. A passenger in my car managed to close the car door on the top of the Butt end, crushing it beyond repair. It was a fantastic rod, light, sensitive and very easy to handle. What im wondering is if anyone has, tucked away somewhere the butt half as it is most commonly the tip sections of rods that get damaged. Would quite happily pay a reasonable sum for the piece if there is one available. Its a rusty orange colored 12 foot Daiwa Moonraker rated to cast 4 to 6 ounces, with a black plastic butt covering and sliding reel mounts. I cant remember the model number but will post it up tomorrow.
Cheers.

Think you mentioned to me in an email you were fishing the comp next weekend. I will be there myself, perhaps you could bring it along and we could see if it fits etc. More than happy to pay for it if it meant it got rod back in action, it was left to me by the auld fella so sentimental reasons and all that plus the fact it was a bloody good rod! Cheers.
