Re: Ultima F1 Line
I've used F1 for the last few months. I found it really good initially but it gets damaged quite quickly and can snap..which i discovered on a few sessions
Have started using Sufix tritanium so I will see how I get on with that

I was using the black and found it as you described the titanium by using my description of the black.

Re: Ultima F1 Line
Nasty, wirey, weak on the knots, tried two seperate spools of 18lb, wont try it again. Mono seems a very personal choice though.

Re: Ultima F1 Line
suffix synergy, its nice and soft, sits well on the reel and bs to diameter is pretty good too.
Re: Ultima F1 Line
This you will not have tried yet
At only £20 a 1/2 kilo you could do worse the .35mm dia has a b/s of 20.5lbs

Re: Ultima F1 Line
Had heard enough good about it that have sprung for a reel of the 18lb from Veals earlier. Baitdigger's point about mono being a personal thing is a good one though...
