Need plastic lure help asap

#1 Post by Deleted User 3977 »

Hi,
I am a 11 year old boy and need help with plastics. I live by an estuary and there are bass there I THINK. It is VERY weedy. Does anybody know what plastic lures to use there and how to rig them on to the line. I need help because I havent got any of my lures or plastics.
Thanks,

Go to a good tackle shop and look through what they have in packs of Storm soft baits. Get something like the Rattle Ribbon Tail Worm pack which has a bullet lead and cranked (bent) worm hook in the packet, and a little leaflet telling you what to do. They are fished "weedless" like in that YouTube video about the Texas rig I posted for you earlier, that's the basic method for very weedy ground, you can fish various softies like that once you have the hooks.

If they havent got the Rattle Tail pack, ask if they have anything similar - maybe the Finesse Worm - with the bullet lead and the worm hook in the pack, or you can get them mail order.
