Where to fish around Dublin/Wicklow?
Hi lads, I have two weeks off college so myself and my dad are looking to get some fishing in. We were planning on heading out tomorrow night to ennerielly beach, but the tides in late and my dads working early the next morning so we were thinking of fishing somewhere a little closer to home. The question is where to go? I was thinking of heading to greystones but not to sure how its fishing at the moment. Anyone fished it lately?cheers

when fishing on the beach, more important than bait are two things
1, a seat cause a cold wet arse is no good
2, jax roll cause you dont want to get caught out!!!! and using your socks is rough!!

Most beaches are very slow at the moment, but with a few schoolies are starting to show, Ennerieley is worth a go.

Head down the N11 and turn left at Jack Whites. Follow the road til you get to a T Junction at Brittas Bay. Take the right and follow the road til you come to a car park on your left hand side, (its a small car park.)
Park up and then head onto the beach, under the metal barrier.
Alternatively you can drive further on and you will come to another small beach that you can park within sight of where you can fish, literally a few hundred yards to the waters edge....
Hope that helps you out??
