PEOPLE.. myself,stefwest,padeo,no1dubliner,pmu,davyp, and sorry lads but forget the other lads name..
RESULTS.. pollack,ling,pouting, AND 52 SPURDOGS.. and one big suprise...

steamed out of spiddal pier around 9.45 am heading for the foul sound between the island.. fishing was slow at start.. some lovely pollack on the first drift, i think it was no1dubliner landed a nice pollock to 9 half pound, most of the lads got into fish of near the same weight.. done a few more drift there with nice pollock showing all the time,, some of the lads where having great sport on the light spinning gear with jelly worms and shads.. so after lunch we headed to another mark that kevin knows in the bay around 2.45pm...
first fish on the deck on this drift was a spurdog to 12 lb, and then all hell broke loose spurdog everwhere.. it was great crack all you could hear was help ,,, another one here kevin,, was he busy,, good enough for him,, and then the BIG ONE... i wont say much about this one as i will leave it up to the angler who caught it ,, i think it was pmu that hook this ghost for the deep....
so back to the report,,, stefwest set up his very light jerk rod with a mini multiplyer with a lead head and a bit of mack and sent it down, when over it went in his hand yes a spurdog, we where all cherring him on to see if he could land it.. and yes he did.... happy days..
padeo was wrecked hauling these big fish onboard.. to use to driving his double decker around dublin ,,out of shape my friend....
we all got into spurdogs all in the 10 to 12 lbs and even more i would say....
i hope who ever got the ghost from the deep reports on it,, if not i will at a leter stage.....
so that was that.. nice bunch of lads, good crack especialy on the way home in the wheel house where the storys where flowing ,the crack was good........

john just to let you know all these fish went back alive and unharmed.. not one of the fish was cut with any sort of knife ....
