NEW FISHERIES TD IS SWAYED TOWARDS COMMERCIAL FISHING

#1 Post by scotty »

Just been emailed from irishbass.org, and the email has informed me that there is a new td in wexford in charge of fisheries ,and he is on the side of the commercials?, so it looks like curtains for the bass angling, he reckons the fish are jumping out of the water into our bags!, check out the story for yourself, you can email him sean.connick@oireachtas.ie stating otherwise and how daft it would be to let them start up again , because we all know the stocks are not great and we know they would never stick to the 50mile limit as theres not enough policing now! thats why it takes the fisheries 3days to look into illegal netting now, and even if they did stick to the limit they would wipe them out in a year or two , like every other fish in the sea.
