Re: fish from howth
A bit out of my area is Howth.
Speaking with east coast anglers the situation at this time of year can be bleak enough: lots of small fish!
I have no doubt there would be opportunities for doggie bashing or such like.
I am sure some of the east coast lads will give you a better idea of what it is like.

Re: fish from howth
I've not been out from Howth yet this year. I would guess that it would be very slow. If you know your marks, you might scratch something out of the place, but I'd say a blank would be very likely.

Hi all. I'm heading out from Howth on Sunday, can anyone recommend any areas to fish and what bait to use please.
I'm taking my dad out for a few hours. It'll be our first trip of the season.

Don't know where i'll fish in Howth, just see where i end up.
I was looking for a few idea's on where to go. Might be a bit early in the season yet.
It'll be nice to get back out for a few hours.

Re: fish from howth
I'm taking my dad out fishing for the day. Howth works out better for me. Also I'll be taking the boat to Cork in a week or two to put her back on her moorings for the season.
It's very hard to get my dad to go to cork for a fishing trip, so that's why I'm taking him out on Sunday before I put the boat back on her mooring.
