hello folks im sort of new to this sea angling lark ive done it a few times before but have never caught anything mainly because dont know what im doing hahah and that i dont know any good spots to fish.Im from derry so if anybody could give me a few tips and hints on were to fish and what to use for bait for around the donegal or lough foyle area would be brilliant.Im bored and tired of river fishing so my new venture is to try sea fishing.Any hints or tips folks would be welcomed .cheers. :)

Hi MAte. Welcome to the site- i hope you find it useful. That is an area i dont know much about. If you have acess to a car- Portrush area is always worth a throw. The harbour, ramore head and the blue pool all fish well form late spring through to mid autumn. Best baits we find are rag tipped off with mack.

Sorry I cant be of more help- but i am sure someone will be able to advise as there is guys on here from your neck of the woods.

Cheers crazyfish1983, I have never been up to portrush for the fishing before so will have to give it a try ,any help is appreciated so thanks alot.You are the only one who seems to want to give out their secrets hahaha.Think i will check the tides and get out sometime this week.

Welcome.

There's a few anglers on this site from around your way, there's been a couple of new anglers join lately too. Have a search around recent posts in the last month to see if you can spot them.
