lads just looking on a few tips where to start never done any spinning for bass have a couple of places in mind is it best to try rocky ground or would you get any from a surf beach the places im thinkin of are east cork way is it best if its shallow or deep water ? any pms appreciated thanks

I would start by reading through the posts on Jim Hendrick's website. A mine of information here, not about specific marks but about the type of ground to look for, how/when to fish, bass habits, tackle, etc.
