Re Halfway Angling Centre

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Re Halfway Angling Centre

#1 Post by Conger »

Was down the Cork way today with work and had arranged to meet Tazdogue from the site with a rod and reel, Tazdogue directed me to the Halfway Angling Centre near Bandon, Lads it was like walking into a sweet shop :D :D Some selection of gear in there enough to say that what i was getting for the rod and reel was blown in seconds   Taz sound man and cheers for the directions, if anyone is travelling down that direction it is well worth a visit

Regards

Seamus

not only has he got a huge selection ranging from budget to expensive, his prices probably make him the cheapest shop in cork. his customer service is 2nd to none. i broke a reel i bought from him a few years ago and when i brought it back he laughed and asked what i wanted instead, no argueing about what happened to it. he's well in tune with whats happening in the local area and is never shy to give out marks that are fishing well. its the only shop i use in Cork.

"If you are in the Cork region and want a good tackle shop head for Halfway Tackle at Halfway on the N71. Its a converted garage in the shop owners back yard and it must be the best stocked Irish tackle shop I've come across"
