streedagh, sligo 4.2.10

#1 Post by davyp »

People: me

Duration: 2 ish to 6.30

Tide: rising (high @8.00)

Weather: bright and calm

Bait: fresh lug, manky lug, sandeel mack limpet??

Rigs:

Results: Nada von nietzki

hadnt been out in ages, dug some lug (an picked some mussels Mmmmm), then got given some maky lug and rag by a kindly boat fisherman.

hoping for a tastie flounder - but not to be - not a nibble all baits untouched throughout the whole session, thought of hanging on to darkness - but my belly got the better of and called it a day

Hard luck mate, shane and fished it the other week and only got little coalies in the surf. i think because the water is so shallow there we might have to wait a month or so before it kicks into life. Only problem is there aren't many deep water marks round here.
Give us a shout next time your over
Cheers mike
