Kells Bay Kerry

#1 Post by Deleted User 3977 »

Hi,
Anyone know the best spot to fish in Kells bay. Fished the east side off the pier but theres way more bass on the west side. Anyone know how to access the west side at high tide.
Cheers

During the summer i fished off a Rocky ledge to the left hand side of the bay and the fishing was great, with loads of ballon wrasse and Pollock, i was using rag and crab but when i started to sort out the dead from the live crab and throw away the dead crab, the ballon on a feeding frenzy.
I got one fish over specimen weight and about 40 ballons between 3-4 lb also i had about 10 pollock 3-6lb

I walked over the fields to the head land at the mouth of the bay there is a good few ledges to fish off and its safe.
