mitchell 6000 blue

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Hi,
Does anyone own a mitchell 6000 blue. If so I was wondering what you thought of it. Thinking on buying it off veals for £25
Cheers

I got the 7000 last summer, same reel just a bit more spool capacity, I think it's a great reel for the price, stripped it down for a check over and lube and it seems sturdy enough, I use it on on boat and shore with 20lb braid, I would certainly buy another, can't see why I wouldn't get another 2 or 3 seasons out of it at least :!: I paid €29 from Landers in Tralee
