Shakespeare Contender

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Shakespeare Contender

#1 Post by kstaff »

15ft 3 piece fixed spool rod ideal for Match anglers and Tournament casters. Incredible bite detection from 1-100yards and soft mid section with steel butt. A bit light in the tip which is good for fishing in close for mini species but do not be fooled this thing can pull grown men from the surf if needs be!

All in all a pleasure to cast but very hard to come by due to the very high demand to get them. I think Roger has one so he may give a bit more info on where to get them.

All in all I'd give it 101 out to of 10.

I'm saving for one at the minute.

I hear they perform well over grass.

Indestructable by all accounts.
