Slaughterhill Results Feb 28th

#1 Post by kstaff »

Blue skies and cold crisp air greeted us this morning at the hill. Beautiful morning to be out as the good numbers proved. Great to see some new faces as I'm sick of seeing the old ones! :D
Anyway thanks to all who made it and hopefully everyone had a good day, big cheers for the help setting up and taking down the court, it really helps with extra hands.

A great days crack with a great turn out, thank you to all who attended. Casting up hill sucks!! so my back and calves are telling me this morn anyway, i couldnt even get my socks on this morn without waking her in doors up with the moans and groans
Well done to Larry and Murt for taking top honours on what was a difficult enough day, great to see mb3/mark out for a wang with a really nice style and im sure in no time at all will be advancing up then court. A big thanks to all who helped set up and down the court as staffo said many hands made light work of it, and also to Dennis in the SCI 4wd bus for running all the gear up and down the field, much apriciated.

Ill get some vids sorted out this eve, some really good ones of the rubarb stick getting thrashed, i honestly dont know how it survived  , there was all sorts of casts tried, a 3-step, a 5-step, a take a run-hop-skip and whallop step and how marty didnt do it with a 200g brighton cast is just beyond me, great crack though

Have no fear gents I reckon the slight cross wind and uphill made evryone drop at least 10 meters!

Average walk yesterday was approx 5 miles or more, so everyone gets exercise too! :D
