info on scorpion fish?

im cathin alot of these lately an have been told they're spines are poisonous? is this true an how bad are they like same sort of damage as a weever or what?

man never worry. harmless wee fish. i've handled over 100 of them with no harm. no more dangerous than handling a bass, thornie or wrasse. :) they're a funny wee fish. if you lie them across the palm of your hand you can feel them croaking away :P :P :P . when distressed they blow themselves up to look bigger too :lol: :lol: . like i said man, funny wee fish.

ha thanks jus checkin me mate grabbed a weever a couple of yers back an he said the pain was pretty bad his hand swelled up like a balloon didnt want the same happening me. Ye they're pretty abundent these days around dublin
