hello there; i fished tra na rossan last summer and got some big pollock of the rocks (half way over the mountian to the right of the car park about a 20 min walk or so) very deep water . Was talking to some of the locals in the singing pub and they told me to use red rubber eels and sure enough caught 1 at 8lb and about a dozen at 3-4lb. in comming tide works best at the rocks. good luck ....

8lb off the rocks is a serious pollock!! Might have to take a tour across the bay this summer and moor up in the downings for a day :!:
