People Me and Gazzaa.

Duration 4 hours.

Tide 11am ish Fished from 9 till 2.

Bait Lug and Crab.

Results Me 3 codling and 1 poor cod . Gazzaa 2 codling.

Report As there was big spring tides we decided to go to the youghall area before low water to see if we could catch some codling and flounder. the fishing was not great as a few weeks earlier we had 22 codling and 13 flounder from the same spot. As the tide began to push in hard and 5-6 oz leads were not holding properly we decided to pack it in.

Youghal wasn't fishing too well at the weekend.
With the big tides you might expect some good fish to come in but unfortunately the tidal flow was so strong it made the fishing difficult.
Best chance of some fish in those conditions is to fish an hour or so either side of low and high tide from certain marks.
