People: Dan & Drew

Duration: 6pm - 9pm

Tide: Drop, Low

Weather: Freezing Cold Northerly Wind

Bait: Ragworm, Herring

Rigs: Flappers, Conger Rig.

Results: Codling, Pollack, Pouting, Coalfish, Shore Rockling

Report:

A productive enough wee night on Donaghadee, have decided not to take tides into account on this venue anymore as it seems to fish well at all states. Plenty of wee stuff to keep the tips bouncing all night biggest were around 22/23cm, so counters anyway.

Dan was trying for an eel but it didn't happen.

I'm can't wait for the seatrout season as well but it's the mullet I really can't wait to start fishing for again.

there were quite a few fish in the 20cm+, was a good night, and i managed a Coalie on my usual cast. The last one!!!!!

good to see you got a few guys :P don't give up on the eel yet dan :D. they are starting to show up at some marks on the antrim coast already, you'll get one yet and all the trying will feel worth while :wink:
