Pure class... the kompressor s my late review
I this rod has been out a while but i have only purchased it over xmas and only got to use it the other night and i was so impressed i thought id post in a quick review for anyone who is thinking of buying a rod in the luxury high end market.Now i am a big fan of Century rods and have alot of their previous rods in my arsenel but this kompressor WOW... what a rod it blew me away....I had been using a Carbon Metal also by Century as my general fishing tool before this and with my first cast with the Kompressor S had a horrible crack off not a good start, i was painfully reminded that i was using a very powerful rod with a razor sharp crisp action... Second cast was much better i slowed it down and and the lead went seaward at a mind blowing rate as the line screamed off my reel (I HAD FALLEN IN LOVE )and every cast after that got better ,eventually I was blastin baited rigs 150yrds or so with ease.This rod even looks sexy in the tripod and was showin up even whiting bites at distance, although a lovely rod to use in most situations it definitly comes into his own fishing at xtreme distance or fishing for big fish over foul ground.
