any place to congers in cork?

i reckon there might be a few down there, i was there a few weeks back and as i was catching nothing i stuck on a 4/0 and a big lump of mack and put it out about 10 yards from the wall and loosened the drag a little. i was rebaiting the other rod about 10 mins later and noticed some twitches on the conger one, didnt look huge at first, then the line started comming off. by time i grabbed it i was stuck, i couldnt free it so gave it a while but no joy. had to pull out of it.evan699 wrote:

my own stupidity really, a beach reel loaded with 15lb line isnt exactly conger gear.
