Re: reel spec
Nearest I know of with LD and LW in the highest ratio is the ABU 6600 C3, ratio there is 5.3:1.
Your requirement for high retrieve ratio is a killer!

Re: reel spec
Think you will have to decide which thing to drop.
levelwind
lever drag
high retrieve ratio
I like lever drag and levelwind but not too fussed about rate of retrieve so have Penn 320LD, Shimano Charter Special etc.
If you drop lever drag the Daiwa Saltist have levelwind and high retrieve ratio.
Good luck

Re: reel spec
why would anybody thumb line when you can use a good level wind. i used not use them for the usual banter of fear like "they always fail" or "if you want to cast they cause too much friction" etc etc but once i tried one they are just too good not to have. you might as well say reels are for wimps, rods are for wimps, boats are for wimps IMO
