Results:me 3 x 5 beard rockling, 5 x codling to 26cms, 3 x whiting to 28cms

Report:Went to Greystones at low tide to try for a 5 beard rockling for the species hunt, which i failed to get in Bray Harbour last week. Big Mick phoned to say he was on the way, as usual he had to drop off some part of an engine to someone but he arrived about 7pm. It was a beauty of a night, after all the bad weather recently ,it was a pleasure to be out fishing and be able to see the bites. Got the rockling straight off which was great, followed by another
.A codling was next, then another rockling so it was a good move coming here at low tide( not that i had any choice, it just happened to be low tide when i could come out but it sounds good 
) The bites were few and far between but i managed 11 fish before i went home at 10-30pm. 11 sounds better that it was as there were long periods between the bites , we kept waiting for the fish to switch on, but it didnt happen. Big Mick managed 2 fish, but he was using frozen mack and got the fish late on as the tide rose.I got one of the rockling, the smallest actually, on the 1 hook clipped down which was a 2/0 hook. Forgot to take a pic, cos he wasnt hooked, just stuffed the hook and bait in his gob and wouldnt let go. I took a pic of Big Mick to try and lure some foreign anglers over so we'll have to watch this space and see what happens 
We left when we ran out of bait at 10-30pm.The only downside was that i didnt see any of my furry friends,,,,,,,,,maybe they were scared off by Big Mick
