Duration: from 22.00 until 03.00

Tide: Full 03.15 - Low 09.26

Weather: Lovely mild night, not a cloud in the sky ... slight westerly breeze

Bait: squid, sandeel, mackeral, lug

Rigs: 3 hook flappers on both at start, ended up switching to single hook bombers

Results: 22 dogfish ,1 codling (undersize) 2 pollock (undersize), 2 plaice (undersize)
all returned alive


Report:

Fished from the middle of the beach, with 2 rods. A hectic nights fishing. within 2 minutes of the first rod being baited and cast I had a doggie on, this set the standard for the night...as soon as a rod was baited and cast... fish on ... I was using 3 hook flappers but had to switch to single hooks , because i was reeling in 3 at a time !
Only dogfish ... nothing for the table ...but still a great nights fishing :)
