2 way beads

#1 Post by eric »

little 'kew'uestion here to these familiar with the usage of 2 way or as there also known 4 way beads.
1-just wondering what their advantages over the traditional 'crimp, bead, swivel' are?
2-what is the best way to put them on the rig body, some say to use an overhand knot to secure them in place, others say to use stop knots?
3- in relation to the snoods do you have to knot them on both sides?

they are heavier than a small bead trapped swivel. they give a slight bit of standoff which can help depending on trace design. you can use stopknots, beads and even crimps  you can use silicone too. the problem with stopknots is the snood can catch the tag of the knot which can cause it to twist around the rigbody. nothing major. an overhand knot stop dosent suffer from this. avoid Hiro in smallest size as they break far too easy you would do better sellotaping the hooklenghts to the rigbody  don't knot them on both sides :(
