Cobh SAC 2010 Comps

#1 Post by Pat »

The following are the dates for 4 of our comps that will qualify for the Master Boat:

Sat 26th June

Sun 25th July (fished as part of the Cork Harbour Championships)

Sun 22cnd Aug

Sun 10th Oct

There will also be light line competitions fished within the confines of Cork Harbour in Jan, Feb & Mar (& maybe beyond). These will be short comps fished from 9am - 3pm. The skippers have agreed to reduce their fees for these so that the entry fee will be reduced to €40. Line strength is retricted to 15lb bs. The first of these comps is on Sunday week 17th Jan. If you are interested pm me.

The Festival this year will be fished in the first week of Sept again. This year the prize fund has been increased to €6000 with cash prizes making up €2000! Watch this space!!!

New members are always welcome.

All competitions will be 'open.' We'd be delighted to see anglers from other clubs :D .

A slight correction to this (which was brought to my attention  ). The Harbour Championships on 25th July is confined to clubs in the Harbour area. If you are a member of one of these clubs you will more than likely be representing your club. If not, you'll have to join Cobh SAC :D ....it's great value!
