Boat fenders
There are many different ideas about fenders and protecting your boat. I would like to hear about what kind of fenders work best and your experience with them.

Re: Boat fenders
Depends on your boat I'd say. I've got a 17ft Warrior copy with a rubbing strake that sticks out a bit so the sausage type plastic ones were no good, I use a couple of round balloon types that are only deployed when parking. A heavier wooden boat might need something more substantial like the tyres mentioned, but they look a bit hick.

Tractor tyres for my boaty, but then I'm a hillbilly that drives around in a 50ft Trawler

Many moons ago I owned and ran a 50ft tyre-draped scallop dredger, so I'm an ex-hillbilly myself and know where you're coming from.
