Winter fishing

hi all

its been a long time since i was last out fishing and want to go again soon, i've nver fished during the winter.
i'm off the next few days so was planning goin out in the next day or two off wicklow or arklow piers.

what bait should i use? rag like i used during the summer or different stuff? where's the best place to get bait this week?

lug tipped with mac will be your best baits for the winter but i also bring crab squid herring sandeel with me most of the time also mussel if you can get it
