Hi all,
Wondering if anyone knows where I could buy/obtain some lead for making weights in the Cork/Galway area. Supplies are running low and the guy I used to get it from has been let go.
Any help would be great
Dave

Re: Lead offcuts
I need to get some also.
I'd prefer to go around to some sites.... but there are not many on the go these days
I don't mind buying but I have an inkling B&Q will rip me off.
So... where is the cheapest place for lead in Cork?
Cheers!

just go into your local pub and ask any carpenter or plumber or even you mechanic or tyre fitter they lead weights to balance your tyres or just go out at night witha ladder and rob your neighbours flashing
or use concrete 3 parts gravel and 1 part cement i use plastic bottles or egg boxes pour the concrete in and put some wire in trowel finish for better airodynamics
