Duration:8.30 till 11.00

Tide:dropping

Weather:very pleasant

Bait:lug and peeler

Rigs:pullys and flappers

Results:5 codling best 28 ,two rockling 16 cm and a rockling 5 bearded?very pretty but slippery fella!




Report:decided to try a new spot on the north beach on the drop ,was well down by the time i arrived so getting to it and getting back with dry feet was on the cards ,would have liked some mack to have a go for a conger but my freezer was bare :roll: small fish hammering my crab baits all night ,two of the codling spewed small fish during unhooking ,they looked like tiny whiting,i,ll put up a pic of the slimmey lad ,and no john i didnt eat him :lol: or the cod :lol:

my 2 cents are that one in the picture is a shore rockling

and the 2 smaller fellas were five beard rockling!!!

here we go again :lol:

Nice one Roger, will give that beach a try again soon meself, i'll just make up a load of traces first :lol: :lol:

i beleive you didnt eat him ,but by the sound of things you were eating all of your frozen macks, bare freezer :shock:

didnt manage one rigmarole or snapolly last night :roll: lead lift helped and only use big fixed spool ,1 bent out hook was all i managed :D :D using rotten bottom too (yea i know i,v had one since birth :oops: )
