winter whitefish weekend weather window??????

i was looking at the forecast for next weekend and in as much as you can believe it this far ahead it looks settled enough for
a boat fishing trip. I've provisionally booked the clare dragoon charter boat in carrigaholt for next sunday 13/12/09 weather permitting.

Anyone else interested in sharing the charter, hopefully 5 or 6 lads could bring the cost under 100 euros each?

the target species will be reef fishing for wrasses, pollack, coalies, whiting, cod etc, also anything else that swims or has gills
or fins on it will be a legitimate target.

how was the winter white fish trip last year, fish wise that is?

due to the weather no boats have been fishing for a while now so its hard to predict what
fishing will be like. In previous years I have had some good winter fishing and some not so good.
There are lots of fish there sometimes they are trickier to catch. Depending on which weather forecast
you believe, they're all guesses really, we might get out

It looks to me like the weather will be ok for this, i'll post final
confirmation 48 hours in advance. Tommy and myself are definates
for this. Anyone else in? I'm assuming we will leave carrigaholt
pier at 8am to make maximum use of the daylight, i'll confirm this.
